Buy Recycled

What

We were the consultant for Recycling Action Yorkshire’s Buy Recycled programme, delivered
with funding from Yorkshire Forward.

We worked with 33 private and public sector
organisations, advising them on how to cut their carbon by buying products made from recycled products.

We produced resources and delivered three “train the trainer” workshops so delegates could take the learning back into their organisations.

Results

We secured commitments to buy recycled products from every organisation, making equivalent savings of 72,614 tonnes of carbon and diverting 55,016 tonnes of waste from landfill.
